In this film I played the musician father, Jon. This was a beautiful experience for me as I related to and embodied many of the qualities of the character. It was a small and intimate cast and crew and a pure work of love and devotion which I feel comes through on the screen. It was a joy and honor to be a part of this film
Irumbu Thirai is an Indian action techno thriller film directed by P. S. Mithran. The film features Vishal, Arjun and Samantha Akkineni in the lead roles, with Yuvan Shankar Raja composing the soundtrack.
In this film I played one of the lead villains as a computer hacker. The highlight of this for me was a complex fight sequence where for the first time ever in Indian cinema the audience will experience the beautiful and powerful martial art, Capoeira. I had a blast working along side actor Vishal and the rest of the team.
This was my first feature film as actor, musician, stunt man and martial artist. I played the foreign ghost catcher/magician. I respect Marrison for his courage to redefine horror/comedy with his own creative flare. The dynamic and often chaotic kollywood film set was also a new experience and I learned a lot. It was a pleasure working on this film.

The creative adventure working on this project was a true learning experience. It was a joy to compose some of the music along with Ivan Avakian and play on stage as one of three performers with Thierry Moucazambo and Irven Teme. It was a deep journey into our own inner cave where we must embrace our humanity and divinity. Philippe was a masterful guide and director through this process and the final creation reflected the deep love and devotion towards a transformational experience.
